【経歴】

1971年  ：国際基督教大学(ICU)教養学部入学

１年間のスペイン留学を経て

1976年 ：同大学同学部卒業

同年  ：（株）東京銀行（現三菱東京UFJ銀行）入行。本店営業部輸出課勤務

1981年 ：国立障害者リハビリテーションセンター学院聴能言語専門職員養成課程入学

1982年  ：同学院同課程卒業

同年 ：（財）東京都神経科学総合研究所（現東京都医学総合研究所）入所

 この間、中村記念病院（札幌市）言語室において約５年間臨床活動

1995年 ：東邦大学大学院医学研究科から医学博士号取得（主査：岩村吉晃教授）

1999年 ：神戸大学医学部助教授に着任

同年 ：第１回国家試験により「言語聴覚士」資格取得

2002年：医学部教授

2008年：神戸大学大学院保健学研究科教授

同年 ：日本学術振興会特別研究員等審査会専門委員（社会科学領域）

高次脳機能障害の領域で活動中の

2009年7月 ：脳梗塞を発症

10か月にわたる懸命のリハビリの末，2010年5月現職復帰。
しかし，非利き手1本では単身赴任生活を維持することができず，
博士前期課程4人後期課程6人全員の学位取得を実現させ

2011年3月 ：神戸大学を退職。
同時に神戸大学大学院保健学研究科客員教授に就任
